I decided to take a walk after work while waiting for Curtis to call me back about a potential car match for Kennedy, and found myself running down memory lane as I realized where I was. The Old Mill before me looked a little older and worn now, but no different from the times we’d been here before.

This was the hookup part of Silverbell for teenagers when we were young. Annagayle and I spent many days here, either cooling off in the stream beneath the bridge, or sneaking into the Mill like other couples our age. A few times we were in there with another couple; the sounds of skin and moans permeating the air around us. It only amplified the desire I had for Anna. Something about hearing someone else moan makes you feel the need to have my own girl moaning below me as I thrust into her.

I felt like a teenager again with how much I wanted her. I’d woken with a hard cock every single day since we slept together. Maybe my plan should be to seduce her; to make her crave me so she’ll finally break down that wall and let me in.

My phone rang, bringing me back from memoryland. Curtis’ name popped up, so I answered quickly. “Hey, man, what’s up?”

“So, good news. I think I’ve got the perfect ride for her. When do you think she can head down to take it for a spin?”

“Not sure, but I’ll definitely let her know. She may have to wait until her friend Everly is off work so she has a ride.”

“Cool, cool. Just have her give me a buzz when she’s ready. I want to make sure I’m here to take care of her.”

“Thanks, man. I really appreciate all the help with this.”

“For sure. By the way, sorry to hear about your old man. From everything I’ve heard, he was a solid dude.”

“Thank you.”

“See ya.”

“Bye.” I clicked the button on my phone to disconnect the call. One more look over at the Old Mill, and I turned to head toward Anna’s house. It didn’t take much time at all to get there. So there I was, standing on her porch, feeling a little déjà vú. I knocked once and only had to wait a few seconds for the door to open. To my surprise, it was Ben staring back at me.

“Hey, bud. Where’s you mom?” I tried to look behind him into the house.

She came running around the corner, absolutely flustered. “Benjamin Ace Rafferty! What have I told you about opening the door by yourself? What if it had been a stranger?”

He sticks his bottom lip out, pouting. “But it’s Julian, Mama.”

Dropping to her knees, she grabbed his hands and looked at him. “I know, Ben. We’ve had this talk so many times. It's for your safety that I ask you to always wait for me.” He looked over at me, I think attempting to get me to stick up for him, but I couldn’t do that.
